Spring is here!

I haven't posted in a couple months and thought I'd give a little status update.

Last week was spring break and it was quite adventurous. James and I flew out to Salt Lake City to spend 5 days with his parents. We took a mini-vacation within our vacation to Moab, Utah. I had never known how beautiful Utah was until this trip. We visited a few national parks, including Arches National Park. It was amazing. We had a great time with Kim and Pete and are very glad they will be moving to Ohio in the next year or so.

After returning to Columbus I had to pack for Chicago.  Our class went to the annual Chicago Area Radiation Therapists conference.  We (myself and another student) represented Ohio State in the student educational tournament and placed 2nd.  I was sad we lost by one question, but was excited about our success.

Also, the wedding planning is coming along nicely.  Our last big decision is for our videographer.  I changed the bridesmaid dresses from red to black, much to James' dismay.  I know he wanted a scarlet and gray wedding, and now it's more red and black.  We're working more OSU details in now to give it the feel he wanted more of.  I cannot wait for the day to get here.  I am so looking forward to starting this chapter in our lives and finally living together as a 'family' with our dogs.  Not to mention a nice week on the beach!  :)

I am still actively job searching.  I did have an interview at Ohio State's James Cancer Hospital in February, but the position was filled by someone internally for good reason.  I am just keeping my fingers crossed that another position opens and things fall into place.  I love Ohio State and want to continue being employed by them!  It will also be nice for James and I to be working/studying on the same campus so although we'll both be incredibly busy, we're still only a few blocks apart.

I hope everyone reading this is also doing well.
